There once was a time when church leaders complained about people putting checks in the collection baskets. Giving by check instead of with cash was seen as revolutionary.
Today, many people don’t write checks anymore. They pay their bills “on-line”. House payments, car payments, insurance, etc. are all scheduled and paid on the Internet. And now, people who are Internet-comfortable can give to the Church in this same convenient way.
Our Church has always accepted the truth that we need to give. Giving strengthens our faith as it reflects our thanks for God’s goodness. That commitment has not changed in any way, but as times change, the church needs to change some familiar methods. Thus, our Church is responding to this growing “on-line” trend. Now you have the option to process your giving at the same time you pay your bills, with all transactions being as private and secure as your banking activity. You can also set up automatic withdrawals from a credit card or banking account and on a schedule that you define.
To explore this convenient service, click on the eGiving link on the right. Also, while you're at any page on the website, you can click eGiving on the top right menu. This will take you to our online giving provider allowing you to set up your account.
If you have trouble in any way, please contact the Parish office.
