Adults who are Baptized Catholic but have not received First Reconciliation, First Communion or Confirmation please contact the Director of Religious Education.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ADULT SACRAMENT PREPARATION
- A copy of your Baptism certificate issued within the last six months. This may be obtained by contacting your parish of Baptism.
- If married your Marriage must have been performed in the Catholic Church. Contact a priest or deacon if this is not the case.
RCIA (RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION)
A process for non-Catholics who would like to know more about the Catholic Faith. These sessions provide the basic tenets of the Catholic Faith and can lead to full initiation into the church if you desire. Classes are taught by clergy and staff. Thursdays 7:30-8:45pm in the Annex.
ADULT FIRST RECONCILIATION immediate preparation consists of two sessions scheduled by request.
ADULT FIRST COMMUNION immediate preparation consists of two sessions scheduled by request. First Reconciliation is a requirement for this preparation.
ADULT CONFIRMATION immediate preparation consists of seven sessions that are held twice during the calendar year. The first preparation series begins on the Monday after New Years. The second preparation series begins on the Monday after Easter Sunday. All Confirmation of adults is performed on Pentecost Sunday. Details as to time and location vary. Reconciliation and Communion are required for this preparation.
